Below the article link, David González Romero, listed as an ICT Engineer | Business Consultant, has left a comment. The comment reads: “This is very interesting and one very important topic for the future of commerce: the harvesting of non-structured data and how to make profit from it. This inevitably brings up the trending topic of “fake reviews” in eCommerce. How can a statistical model separate an honest review or opinion coming from a consumer who “selflessly” shares knowledge or sentiment in social media from a computer-generated one aimed at marketing a particular product? If I could build a bot smart enough to distinguish one from the other, “real” from “fake”, how would I know there’s no other bot who can outsmart mine by creating opinions/reviews that look real? The war of the machines may be closer than we think!” The post has 4 likes and options for interaction are visible.
